Using combine courses that is Pre Sea as well as On Board Training we now have the ability to control international shipping industry sources in our environment and manipulate it for the growth and development of Indian crews and officers on board ship.

BSL has been established to encourage the study of shipping industry. We aim to prepare a knowledge workforce comparable to the best in the world through instruction in the cutting edge technology. BSL also lays emphasis on group projects, so that our students learn to be co-operative and productive team members. Industry exposure provides these budding professionals the opportunity to work on ships and to learn to thrive in the conductive work environment into the field of international shipping industry of the world

Besides the B.Sc Nautical,G.P.Ratings,Saloon Ratings and B. Tech. program, the BSL also offers M.B.A. in Shipping & Logistics Management,through distance learning schemes. The graduate students have access to the highest levels of shipping industrial training, project experience and expert instruction. BSL intends to focus its human and material resources on research and innovation. Our students are already on the leading edge of shipping industry.

The future prospects of BSL are tremendous. We are establishing collaborations with industry and foreign and Indian Shipping Principals and Institutes. The collaborations with several institutes and shipping companies have already been established. These are exciting times for the BSL community and we welcome participation of all concerned in our endeavors.
